A PLEM is a subsea structure used to connect a flowline with other subsea structures such as a manifold or a tree it is a smaller version of a cluster manifold, a PLEM connects generally to a flowline through a jumper without the need of a PLET .
Subsea manifold is a structure containing a system of valves, pipe headers and branched pipework that are designed to commingle and distribute produced fluids from multiple wells or to distribute injection fluids into the wells.

The PLET is the termination point of the Tie in pipe and the connection point with flow line. PLET shall include interface section of the pipeline to allow installation of end cap, flowline tools (pig launcher/receiver) and a Tee branch to the Subsea Production manifold.
