INTERVENTION SYSTEM

The NUSTAR Subsea Lubricator System (SSL) is designed to be deployed and recovered as a two-part lift from a suitably designed diving support vessel. The unit allows access to a satellite or template Subsea well without the need for conventional BOP stack and tension riser. The system primarily would be deployed and retrieved in two stages with separate Well Control Package and Lubricator Packages with the wireline intervention tooling being run and retrieved either separately with the PCH or with the Upper Lubricator Section.

The system allows Slickline and Electric Wireline operations to be performed on the Subsea well including safety valve lock out, gas lift valve change out, logging and perforating. This intervention system design is intended for a specific field application and not to be an encompassing system for any application. From an operational perspective, this system enables electric line workovers to correct a non-operational zone sleeve.
